Prof. Meiyun Guo

Meiyun Guo  is a full professor of Southwest University, the Director of ILI and the Deputy Dean of School of Political Science and Public Administration, Southwest University.  He graduated as a PhD from the Philosophy Department of Peking University in 2006. Currently, He serves on the standing committee of Chinese Association of Logic. He is a Deputy Director of the National Professional Committee of Modern Logic, the Secretary-general of Chongqing Association of Logic, and a member of the program committees of LORI conferences, etc. From 2010 to 2011, He was a Post-Doctor of the ILLC, University of Amsterdam. 

His academic interest rest on the study of Epistemic Logic, Logical philosophy, Analytic Philosophy and Philosophy of Language. He has published more than 20 papers on prestigious  journals in China  (such as Philosophical Investigations, Journal of Dialectics of Nature, and Philosophical Trends), and proceedings of famous international conferences. Moreover,  he has contributed 3 monographs as an author,  and one more as a translator (which has been awarded The Third Translation Prize of Chinese Association of Logic). 

As a principal investigator, he is conducting three nationally funded projects and two provincially funded projects. Moreover, as a principal investigator, he has successfully conducted two nationally funded projects, two provincially funded projects, and two school-funded projects. According to his contribution,  he has been entitled a candidate of "academic pacesetter of Chongqing”.
