Dr. Junli Jiang

Junli Jiang is a lecturer  in Department of Philosophy, Southwest University. Currently, she is also the deputy office director and secretary of ILI.

She graduated as a M.Phil and PhD from Southwest University in 2007 and 2011 respectively.  The PhD program was a joint program with the Graduate CenterCity University of New York, and she studied one year as a PhD student at the center since August, 2010.  Thereafter, she spent three years as a Post-Doctor at the College of Economics and Management, Southwest University (2011-2014), and has got the position of lectureship at ILI since May,  2014. Her Master thesis and PhD thesis have been awarded High Quality Master/PhD Thesis of Southwest University. 

She focused on the applications of Modern Logic and Rational Choice Theory, in particular, applied on actions in coalitions,  decisions, and social networks. Some results has been published on journals like Philosophical Trends, Computer Science, Journal of Peking University(Philosophy and Social Science), and so on. Also, as a translator and joint editor, some books and papers has been published by Science Press, Economic Press China, and so on.

As a principal investigator, she has conducted three school-funded, provincially and nationally funded projects. As a teacher, she offers courses like "Introduction of Logic", “Game Theory and Decision Theory", “Mathematical Logic and Set Theory”, “Learning Selected Sino-Western main literature”, etc. to undergraduates, graduates, and PhD students.  She has got Best Award for Micro-lecture Teaching Competition of Southwest University in 2014.
