Dr. Zuojun Xiong

Zuojun Xiong got his PhD degree (supervised by Prof. Thomas Ågotnes) from the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen in 2017. Since Jan 2018, he has worked as a full-time lecturer and researcher at ILI. Recently,  he is interested in all things related to modal logic, in particular, logics about the dynamics and information in social networks. 

As a teacher, Zuojun Xiong has taught the course of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (INFO 282) and Prolog (Programming in Logic, a lab-course of INFO 282) in 2014 and 2015 at the University of Bergen. As a PhD student, he has been invited to give a talk about logics in social networks  for LAMAS SING at Gdansk, Poland 2016. Thereafter, he has presented a logic about arbitrary multicast messaging at the workshop of LogiCIC, Amsterdam. In 2017, as the first author, the paper Towards a Logic of Tweeting has been fully accepted by LORI VI, and the presentation has been given by himself at the conference.  Couple of months later, he public defended his PhD thesis (check the following picture) at the University of Bergen.

In 2017, he taught the course Advances in Modern Logic (AiML 2017) for gradurates.
